A new EP crossed my email and the press release caught my attention, as it referred to “more aggressive, yet dynamic vocals; a broader array of hooks, tastier licks, dynamite drums, and a much fatter production.”  Sounds like it might be right up my alley.  Opening track “282” comes charging out of the gate like a full-on punk metal track that soon shows its true colors as a metal track with punk overtones.  The guitars and vocals blend well as the drums and bass keep time and tempo.  “Go Crazy” kicks off and is all metal without going extreme or too modern.  The bass lines fill the sound and give this song added punch.  The lyrics are catchy and should go over well live.  “Got Me Runnin'” opens with a great riff that builds slowly through the intro and gives the song punch during the verse and bridges.  The rhythm section keeps the song anchored and steady while the vocals and guitars run like crazy from open to close.  Final track “Lie To Me” features a killer drum piece that is enhanced by a pounding bass line.  The chugging riffs and vocals come together and create a cool vibe that supports the heavier rhythm section.
