ShockOne aka Karl Thomas, is an Australian electronic music producer from Esperance in Western Australia. He started releasing dance music as ShockOne in 2005. Known to be a close friend of Pendulum, he brought the goods with a fantastic set including plenty of pop samples that had the crowd pumped and ready for the main attraction. We also had the privilege of meeting his young daughter Willow who raved with her parents for his finale, her first show according to Karl.

Pendulum made it known, repeatedly, how much they love their hometown of Perth as they performed their energetic set featuring something for everyone, filling in between tracks with personal insight behind the inspiration for their bangers.

Pendulum formed 21 years ago as a straight up Drum N Bass project that basically made Perth the envy of the DnB world. Now they have combined many more elements and turned into a beast of a live band with their passion for metal evident. The stage show has impressive lighting & visuals on this tour, boosting the atmosphere into a MainStage festival vibe. The massive crowd fully engaged throughout their performance, the crowd demographic was varied as expected from a band who have a solid local presence for over 20 years, whilst their set list was as diverse as the audience, showcasing their special talent.

There are only a few remaining shows here in Australia before they head off across the globe, and new EP Anima is due for release on 3rd November.
