3 Doors Down is hitting the road in celebration of the 20 year anniversary of the release of their multi-platinum debut album The Better Life.  The highly anticipated show sold out the newly renovated TCU Lawn. The venue now has a permanent stage, new acoustics, artist dressing rooms, a massive year ‘round canopy that covers the fixed seating areas and 2 large screens that project the show from each side. For the first time in nearly 2 years things felt normal. The massive crowd, the raw energy and 2 great bands set the stage for a fabulous Friday night. Seether got things going with an electric 12 song set of their greatest hits. Lead singer Shaun Morgan said the band was grateful for getting back to live shows and seeing fans faces without masks. After a brief intermission for production setup, 3 Doors Down took the stage. They dove right in with their smash hit “Kryptonite” as green lights shown, and a massive green diamond shaped screen sparkled from behind the stage. A single American flag off to one side complemented the setup. Like Seether, Brad Arnold echoed his joy of being back in front an audience. They played The Better Life album in its entirety. It seems like only yesterday when it first hit the airwaves. They followed up with several more hits including a 2 song encore. During “When I’m Gone” clips of military families played on the screens. Brad claimed to be struggling with allergies and apologized if he didn’t sound his best. I doubt anyone noticed as they sounded amazing all night long. The Anniversary Tour is just getting underway, so be on the lookout for them in city nearby. Tour dates are available in the link below.

Setlist: Kryptonite – Loser – Duck and Run – Not Enough – Be Like That – Life of My Own – Better Life – Down Poison – By My Side – Smack – So I Need You – Away From the Sun – Let Me Go – It’s Not Me – Here Without You – When I’m Gone
