PARALLAX RELEASE FASCINATING VIDEO CLIP FOR FOCUS

Parallax are a new music & visuals duo out of Perth , comprised of Peter Renzullo & Jamie Seinemeier.

The project is a blend of electronic and live instrument productions, with influences ranging from Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Deftones and a general 90s indie sound.

A big part of the production is the coupling of original cinematic visuals to accompany each piece of music. The song and the visuals work together to deliver the impact intended by the duo, and have been created with the duality in mind. More akin to short films rather than music videos, Parallax ultimately want to share their stories through both mediums of music and vision, in order to create something new and original which fits comfortably in both the music and film industry.

Their first release, FOCAL, is the story of Self-Sabotage – a story most people know all too well. The film was shot and conceived of by Peter Renzullo, for who’s work has gained international recognition as he is legally blind, yet has found a method to shoot his projects with highly cinematic results. Parallax is his venture into higher levels of visual production including original special FX and new techniques utilising some abstract methods for achieving the results, as seen in this first film.

There are a planned 10 pieces of music, each with their own original video production to accompany, being released through the year and beyond.
