Portland’s The Shivas are out touring to support their latest – Dark Thoughts – released October 25 2019. To help spread the word about the new disc and the musical love, the band stopped in Detroit and headlined a show at Trumbellplex on a dreary Monday evening. Without any fanfare or huge introduction, the band took their places, did one last check of their instruments and launched into music. The crowd that came out to see them milled about in front of the stage and basked in the glory of the band and the songs they came to hear. From the first moment of the bands set, the crowd and band seemed to feed off each other.
