BOOM! BAP! POW! TO CELEBRATE 10 YEARS WITH ANNIVERSARY SHOW & ‘TRAINWRECK’ SINGLE LAUNCH
Perth’s premier rock ‘n soul merchants, Boom! Bap! Pow!, will celebrate their tenth anniversary with a bang on Saturday, 2 February at Mojo’s.
Armed with their brand new single Trainwreck, the band are ready and raring to return to the stage to celebrate this momentous milestone!
One part soul, one part rock ‘n roll and more than a dash of charisma, Boom! Bap! Pow! are a cocktail of fun, known for their dynamic live shows and lightning-in-a-bottle style. The five-piece have captured audiences across Australia thanks to tours with Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed, Royal Crown Revue and slots at Queenscliff Music Festival and St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.
Frontwoman Novac Bull demands attention from audiences with her throaty, soulful vocals and assertive stage presence. Flanked by her band, which includes Paul Hines on guitar, David Salvaire on drums, John Brown on bass and Dylan Hooper on saxophone, the BBP gang knows how to deliver the perfect party soundtrack.
Expect to hear cuts from the band’s sophomore album So Heavy, including the runaway hit Suit, which has racked up more than 350,000 YouTube views, 90,000 global streams and 30,000 Shazams. Suit has also been featured on numerous advertising campaigns internationally, including Bonds, Diet Coke, Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 and more.
Supported by The Little Lord Street Band and Delilah Rose, this Mojo’s hoedown will be one for the books. They’ll snake-charm dance moves out of even the most reserved punter!
