THEATRE REVIEW: THE UNBELIEVABLES

The producers of the recent Illusionists shows bring a touch of Vegas to Perth with The Unbelievables, an action and comedy packed variety show at Crown Theatre compered by stand-up comedian Harrison Greenbaum, a very funny man who included the audience (especially those in the VIP tables on the stage) from the start of the show.
Greenbaum introduced a variety of acts for an entertaining romp, with a ventriloquist, quick change couple, master card trick performer, strongman, singer and live band, sword swallower, sand artist, juggler and human balancing act – all from different places right around the world.
If it sounds a bit like a circus, that’s because it really is a modern take on the circus – no animals, and all glitzed and glammed up Vegas style.
Undeniably fun, funny, and impressive, all the acts were a hit, with the kids especially loving the ventriloquism and sword swallowing acts.
