LIVE: SETH WALKER– August 17, 2017
Venue: Barley’s Taproom
City: Knoxville, TN
Date: August 17, 2017

Seth Walker dropped by Barley’s in support of his 9th studio album Gotta Get Back. The current album is a homecoming of sorts with contributions from his father on cello and string arrangements, and from his mother and sister on violin. His music spans several genres but lies somewhere between Americana and blues. Seth took the small stage dressed in his trademark vest and fedora around 10 PM. A small but very energetic crowd welcomed him. The setup was simple. It was Seth, stand up bass, and drums. Walker’s vocal talent was even more apparent in a live appearance and could best described as smooth. He played material new and old. Given the attendance, it was more like a private show and Seth conversed with fans throughout the performance. It was a great time and we were treated with a unique, intimate show.
