Sex obsessed and out to spread the word of the BBQ Nation around the world, Brownbag Johnson’s Graveyard BBQ one-man band is like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

On EP # 4 Johnson delivers a pounding beat, searing riffs from his Flying V, and the most cutting white trash hard rock this side of Nugent and Kid Rock jamming to the soundtrack of Joe Dirt.

From the porn soundtrack intro of Interlube, the Van Halen-meets-Kid Rock-with Gene Simmons-singing Gimme Some Sugar, Mama, and the slow grind-from-behind carnal blues of Hot Dog Man, this shit is hotter than using thermite for lubrication.

Organ Grinder brings Elmore James’ slide blues kicking and screaming into the two-thousand-tens, complete with a mindfucking organ solo from Matt Odabashian, whilst Ride The Stache comes on like the son of Enter Sandman and ‘70s KISS, before value adding a female chorus that is as much Monty Python as it is classic rock.

No Graveyard BBQ release would be complete without a cover version, and here Johnson gives the Robert Johnson-by-way-of-Hendrix classic Fire the Dirtcore treatment to great effect.

With this EP and an awesome Graveyard BBQ comic strip just released, Brownbag Johnson is poised to make a very impact with his highly original, revved-up full frontal slam of smutty ‘30s blues and predatory ‘80s hair metal. Don’t miss the Stache ride!
