Old is the new New in rock n’ roll, so why shouldn’t the same be true for horror?
Vincent Price is paid glorious homage to in this nine film collection over seven BluRay discs.
The collection corrals House On Haunted Hill, House Of Usher, The Haunted Palace, The Tomb Of Ligeia, The Masque Of The Red Death, The Last Man On Earth, Witchfinder General, The Abominable Dr Phibes and Dr Phibes Rises Again, spanning 1959 to 1972.
Between them you can see Price in all his creepy, intense, sometimes fucked-up glory. There’s Price the murderer, the psycho doctor, the madman, the insane Lord: he did it all, and he did it better than just about anyone.
Even playing his most heartless characters, Price had a glint in his eye, a curled lip, and a cheeky glare – could anyone else make you as enthralled in the bad guy?
