Lightning - Road To Ninja cover

Lightning make no bones about their ethos: they are taking the way of the ninja and the samurai deep into Heavy Metal, with songs like Man Of Men, Destiny Destination, Raise The Sun (presented here in both English and their native Japanese) and Heavy Metal (Of Destiny).

Formed by Malmsteen-loving guitar-ninja Iron Chino in 2006, Road To Ninja is Lightning’s fifth album, and it’s power metal of the Helloween school, with lyrics that exhort the listener to believe in themselves an be strong, and it’s thoroughly enjoyable and more than a little bit bonkers in its over-the-top glory!
