Brothers Groove - Live At The Crossing cover

The Brothers Groove do just that on this live recording from The Crossing in Birmingham: locking straight into a tight, funky blues groove and running with it through the seven tracks here.

Focussing on blues with a Stevie Ray Vaughan edge with the assurance of a group who have jammed long and hard and know how to get into and out of the pocket as one, they’re at their best when stretching out, guitarists Shawn Hill and Nigel Mellor egging each other on whilst the tighter-than-a-ducks-bum rhythm section of Deano Bass and Darren Canny provides all the foundation and, of course, the groove that they are brothers in arms for.
