Even more artists added to West Coast Blues N Roots 2014!

With Christmas right around the corner, we thought it was a very appropriate time to deliver some seasonal cheer. Just when you thought it couldn’t possibly get any bigger, we’re pleased to hand you a giftwrapped box containing a final handful of incredible artists that will complete the West Coast Blues ‘n’ Roots line up. To recap, here’s the amazing array of talent heading to Fremantle Park this April –

In the spirit of the season, we thought the more, the merrier. Sunset Events and Chugg Entertainment are proud to reveal our final artist additions to the West Coast Blues ‘N’ Roots 2014 lineup.

We are thrilled to be hosting one of music’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters and troubadours, the multi Grammy awarding winning and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Elvis Costello to the 2014 lineup. Elvis and The Imposters (Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas and Davey Faragher) will present an incredible night of entertainment taking audiences through the Costello musical encyclopedia refresher course with a selection of songs from the past, present and future.

Joining us all the way from the UK one of the most exciting new talents to emerge in recent years, Jake Bugg. His new album ‘Shangri La’ has been released this week and follows his debut ‘Jake Bugg’. It’s been a year since that record went straight to Number 1 in the UK and sending him into the record books as the youngest solo male to debut at the top of the UK charts with their first release. In July this year, Jake made his first visit to Australia to perform at Splendour in the Grass, and played to sold-out crowds at sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne, while seeing his album reach Top 5 on iTunes.

Lets not forget our locally bred talent – we’re pleased to be inviting undoubtably one of the finest guitarist Australia has ever produced, Dave Hole, back to the Blue N Roots stage. His records and live performances have drawn raves from countless international publications, just take it from America’s Billboard Magazine when they say that “slide guitar fanatics will have their brains blown out by this Australia fret-melter. Remarkably inventive, technically unusual overhand slide work separates him from the pack, so be prepared to hear your jaw hitting the floor.”
