Mayday Parade announces new album details and fall headline tour
Tallahassee Florida’s Mayday Parade has unveiled album artwork for their forthcoming new album Monsters In The Closet, set for release on October 8, 2013.
The band’s fourth studio album, Monsters In The Closet was recorded with producers Kenneth Mount and Zack Odem (All Time Low, The Summer Set, We Are The In Crowd ).
“I am so proud of everyone in the band, we’ve come a long way these past 8 years and each person really stepped it up and killed it with Monsters In The Closet,” notes lead singer Derek Sanders. “It’s hard to believe we’ve made it through 4 albums – We’ve become more comfortable with our sound with each one and this is my favorite of all of them. Thank you all for the support, we love you.”
Putting the finishing touches on Monsters In The Closet, the band has been hard at work in the studio, and filming the process along the way. Head over to the band’s YouTube for all of their studio updates and check out the most recent one below.

The Florida quintet knows its identity, but it’s got more excitement for the future with new album Monsters In The Closet. Their fourth studio album, Monsters In The Closet is a collection of everything the group’s fervent fan base loves about Mayday Parade. Evincing evolution in songwriting, the band’s growth shines through shimmering soaring hooks throughout the unshakable, heart-felt collection of songs. To date, their album sales have exceeded 600,000 while track sales surpass 3,000,000. Their self-titled third album entered the Billboard Top 200 at #12 in 2011, and the band has been a standout on the Punk Goes… series. Having crossed the globe on countless tours, the band’s impressive tour resume includes acts such as Plain White T’s, Pierce The Veil, All Time Low, The Maine, We The Kings, We Are The In Crowd, and Set Your Goals. This Florida based five-some stand poised for the biggest and brightest chapter yet.
