DANKO JONES Posts 50th Podcast Episode Featuring Fellow Canadian Artist FEIST — Performing on this Year’s ROCKSTAR ENERGY UPROAR FESTIVAL


DANKO JONES has posted a new episode of his popular podcast! In the latest episode, Danko is joined by none other than fellow Canadian artist Feist! This is the 50th episode so far with previous guests including Henry RollinsDuff McKaganIan MacKaye, pro wrestler Chris Jericho, Brann Dailor (Mastodon), comedian Jim Breuer, Scott Thompson (Kids In The Hall), Brendan Canning (Broken Social Scene) and many more.

Tickets are on sale now.

In recognition of the 4th of July holiday, a limited number of discounted tickets for select tour dates will be available for active duty military, veterans, and military families beginning Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 AM local time. The military ticket discount will launch on Monday, July 8 in some markets (visit for details). The Military Discount tickets will be $10 (plus fees) for lawn tickets and $20 (plus fees) for certain sections of reserved seating.

Also, the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival’s 2013 Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands is now underway. The touring rock music and lifestyle festival’s annual competition runs from July 1 through September 1 (deadlines vary by tour market). Bands can enter the competition–and fans can vote for their favorite band–at Unsigned bands can enter to win a chance to play live on the Zippo Encore Festival Stage powered by Ernie Ball at UPROAR in their market this August and September. Finalists will compete for the grand prize, which includes a coveted spot on the 2014 Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival, the opportunity to record an EP with legendary producer Jay Baumgardner at NRG Recording Studios in Hollywood, CA, a record deal, $10,000 worth of music gear, national radio exposure on hardDriveRadio, and other prizes.

Following their hugely successful run supporting Volbeat, this will be the biggest tour of North America ever for the band and comes on the back of heavy radio rotation for ‘Just A Beautiful Day’. The lead single off their album Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue peaked at a career high #26 on the Active Rock chart in the US and a new single will be serviced to radio shortly.
