ALICE RUSSELL – ANNOUNCES FALL TOUR 2013 – SHARES NPR’s TINY DESK CONCERT PERFORMANCE
With the incredible success of Alice Russell’s spring tour for the release of her new album ‘To Dust’ we are very excited to announce that Alice Russell will be returning to North America for a fall tour, she will once again be accompanied by her band The Park. Tour dates listed below with more dates to be announced.
Alice will be releasing a new single and video ahead of her US visit. The new song, “For A While” taken from the ‘To Dust’ release, sees Russell and producer TM Juke drawing on their eclectic influences for a song that pushes the boundaries of soul music. The single will be released digitally August 27th and features a weird and wonderful, synth-heavy new remix from rising LA based producer Lost Midas.
During Alice’s recent spring tour she popped into the NPR building and hijacked Bob Boilen’s desk to perform a special concert for Bob Boilen’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ series. Watch the madness HERE
