ACL RELEASES SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCES FOR INAUGURAL TWO-WEEKEND RUN

Austin, TX – July 24 – The Austin City Limits Music Festival’s two-weekend bash will be jam-packed with superstars this October — and now fans can plan their revelry down to the minute.  The official schedule was announced this morning and features MUSE, Depeche Mode, and Queens Of The Stone Age on Friday, October 4 and 11.  Kings of Leon, The Cure, Wilco, and Passion Pit will take the stage on Saturday, October 5 and October 12. Each weekend will wrap up with music from Lionel Richie, Atoms for Peace, and Phoenix on Sunday, October 6 and 13.  The full schedule is available at http://www.aclfestival.com/2013-schedule

Though the majority of the acts will play both weekends, a handful of local and emerging artists will vary from Weekend One to Weekend Two.

Bands playing Weekend One only include Shinyribs, The Weeks, Wick-it The Instigator, Aaron Behrens and the Midnight Stroll, Houndmouth, Wild Cub, Peterson Brothers Band, Courrier, Dana Falconberry, Bobby Jealousy, Max Frost, Latasha Lee & The BlackTies, Kristin Diable & The City, Colin Lake, Brooke Waggoner, Endurance, The Stapletones, and Andy Z.

Artists playing only on Weekend Two include Alanna Royale, Cherub, The Dynamites feat. Charles Walker, Shakey Graves, Luella and the Sun, X Ambassadors, Sons Of Fathers, My Jerusalem, Not In The Face, Whiskey Shivers, The Preservation, CALEB, Shannon LaBrie, Andrew Duhon, Tyree Morris & Hearts of Worship, Heavenly Voices Choir.

Three-Day Passes for Weekend One (October 4-6) are sold-out. A limited number of VIP & Platinum Passes, as well as Travel Packages are still available. Three-Day Passes, VIP & Platinum Passes, and Travel Packages for Weekend Two (October 11-13) are also available at www.aclfestival.com.
