Denver’s CHURCHILL Join P!nk As Direct Support On Her Sold Out U.S. Tour
Los Angeles, CA – June 5, 2013 – Just off a sold out UK/European tour with international superstar P!nk, including a four-night run at London’s O2 Arena, Esquire’s “Band to Watch,” Churchill has been invited back as direct support for the U.S. second leg of “The Truth About Love” tour that will begin on October 10th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California and will make 34 stops as it works its way to the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on December 14, 2013.
“We are beyond excited for the opportunity to share the stage again with P!nk,” says Churchill’s chief songwriter and vocalist Tim Bruns. “P!nk puts on a incredible show every single night and it is forcing us to constantly step up our game as performers.”
Churchill will first join OneRepublic, Mayer Hawthorne and Sara Bareilles starting July 19 in Tulsa, Oklahoma in support of their A&M/Octone 4-song The War Within EP. The EP features the band’s current hit song “Change,” new modern rock single “The War Within” and two more new tracks. The EP was released in anticipation of their new self-titled album, produced by Grammy award winner Brendan O’Brien and Joe Richmond from Churchill, set for release this August.
Churchill is led by Tim Bruns (guitar/vocals), Bethany Kelly (piano/vocals), Mike Morter (mandolin/guitar), Joe Richmond (drums/producer) and Tyler Rima (bass). The music juxtaposes elements of timeless American roots, free-wheeling alt-country, rock attitude and nuanced arrangements includes mandolin, piano and guitar that capture the band’s kaleidoscopic sound.

Daytrotter: “There’s a lot of gristle in the meat of the love stories that Denver, Colorado, band Churchill writes. There are all these parts of contention, aspects that cause one to pause, as they’re being thought about.” (Click to watch live session and feature)
