NEW REMIX EP FOR “EASY” BY MAT ZO & PORTER ROBINSON RELEASED TODAY!+EXCLUSIVE PPREMIERE OF “EASY (MAT ZO’S PREPRISE)”

New York, NY – May 7^th, 2013) – Recently signed to Astralwerks, multi-faceted producer and remixer Mat Zo is proud to announce the release of a brand new remix EP for “Easy” in collaboration with Porter Robinson.  This release directly coincides with exclusive May live tour dates across the U.S (see full routing below).

Additionally, check out the special exclusive premiere of “Easy (Mat Zo’s Preprise)” here. It is a track taken from the forthcoming full-length due for release later this year which predated Porter’s involvement and is unavailable anywhere else.

At a mere 23 years of age, Mat Zo is the hotly tipped British electronic music star championed by everyone from Pete Tong, A-Trak, and Swedish House Mafia to Skrillex, Lifelike, Above & Beyond and more. His diverse Beatport hits on the legendary Anjunabeats label include “Bipolar”, “Superman” and “Frequency Flier.” High profile global tours, collaborations with fellow talent Arty (“Mozart”),  and a reputation as one of dance music’s most acerbic wits has seen his star climb ever higher in the past 12 months. 2013 will see him release his debut artist album on Astralwerks – which will cover everything from glitchy hip-hop and electronica to UK garage and big room club bangers.

“Easy,” a big room melodic house anthem that weds feel-good soulfulness with massive contemporary dynamics, has already reached #1 on Beatport and Hype Machine, was premiered to great acclaim on Radio 1 by Pete Tong.  Zo was also recently named MTV Clubland’s “Artist To Watch.”  The eclectic 6-track EP features a range of new remixes of “Easy” by such luminaries as Belgium-based Modek, indie darlings Lamaitre and drum n’ bass legend Andy C. The track began life as a demo for Zo’s album, until Robinson brought him on the road to tour for his successful single “Language” which sold more than 250,000 copies and hit #1 on Beatport and iTunes Dance charts.  While on the road, the solo effort turned into collaboration between two of the world’s hottest young electronic music talents, and together, Robinson and Zo have created one of the most incendiary crossover dance records of the year.
