NEW POLITICS ANNOUNCE SPRING 2013 TOUR DATES WITH FALL OUT BOY
(Los Angeles – CA) – New Politics, the Brooklyn via Copenhagen based 3 piece rock band announced that they will be hitting the road this spring with Fall Out Boy. Kicking off May 28th Niagara Falls, NY, they will criss-cross the country with their effusive brand of in your face rock n’ roll until wrapping up in Minneapolis on June 26th. “Harlem” is featured in the new Taco Bell Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos commercial which began airing nationwide on April 21st. ESPN named New Politics “Artist of the Month” and featured “Harlem” in their programming all of April. New Politics performed “Harlem” on the “Logo NewNowNext Awards 2013” which aired Monday, April 15th at 10/9C on Logo TV. Watch the performance here. Alternative Press has included New Politics as one of the “100 Bands You Need To Know In 2013. Additionally, New Politics are currently on the 2013 MTV Artist to Watch Tour with Twenty One Pilots.
In 2010 New Politics released their self titled debut album through RCA Records. The album contained the singles “Yeah Yeah Yeah”, which was featured in a Dell Campaign in addition to being the Alli Theme Song for both the Dew Tour 2010 and the Lucas Oil Pro Motorcross tour, as well as “Dignity”. MTV deemed them “Buzzworthy” and named New Politics as one of their “2011 Artists To Watch” and they had their own MTV PUSH and Posted campaigns. New Politics have toured with 30 Seconds to Mars, Neon Trees and Dirty Heads amongst others. In 2011 they made their late night network television debut on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and they have also performed on Fuel TV’s The Daily Habit.
New Politics are looking forward to hitting the road once again where they will continue to perform their riveting high energy sets which had Spin.com declaring their performance was “…the night’s most lasting take-away” during their performance at SXSW.
