Devine Electric - self titled EP

Devine Electric’s latest EP is a mixed bag of three diverse tracks that give a good snapshot of the band’s oeuvre.

Opener Sweet Temptation is clearly pitched to FM rock radio, boasting a tight melody and smoother sound than its compadres. There’s a slight hint of some southern styled guitar pickin’ in there, and it’s a catchy song.

So Sexual sees the band heading for more hard rock territory with a touch of Guns n’ Roses, while Don’t Feel Like Home is more of a slow burner that takes one further step towards metal.

All three tracks are bound to stick in your head, highlight what a solid rockin’ band Devine Electric is and this is one EP that will have you reaching for the repeat button.
