CrashDiet brought their special blend of sleaze metal to Pontiac, MI on a chilly Friday evening. The sound board fried before the openers hit the stage, so everything was pushed back, but after a cool interview with the band and then a memorable set from Crucified Barbara, these Swedes hit the stage and gave the crowd everything they had. A rousing set list that included several songs from their latest disc, was peppered with something for everybody. I even ran into some rockers that drove about four hours to see the show. The band was on fire and didn’t slow down from the time they hit the stage. I only hope they are given a larger venue and stage to play next time they come to town.
