IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION’s Pete Hopersberger to Guest with Space Nelson April 21

IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION keyboardist Pete Hopersberger will be performing with Detroit prog rock outfit Space Nelson at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, Michigan on Sunday, April 21 opening for Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy. The ELP Legacy shows consist of Emerson Lake and Palmer classics being performed by a traditional guitar/bass/drums trio. Pete sang and played keys in Space Nelson before joining I.S.D., who will be kicking off their first North American tour on April 28th in Atlanta, GA with Italian band Kingcrow, before hooking up with Pain of Salvation on May 1st in West Springfield, VA and supporting them on the remainder of their dates in the US and Canada.

“Eric Fisher (Space Nelson drummer) has worked with Carl Palmer on his instructional DVDs and done an amazing job, so this chance came up to play with Carl at the Magic Bag. It’s a great opportunity for me to play a fun show with good friends before heading out on the road. I wrote and sang several of the Space Nelson tunes, so it’s a nice outlet for me, and an honor to share a stage with a legend like Carl Palmer.”

IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION released their debut Recurring Themes in 2012. The album was produced by Roy Z (Halford, Bruce Dickinson), and features nine original tracks that showcase the band’s vocal harmonies soaring over original progressive-metal riffing, melodic compositions and the rhythms of ex-Tiles drummer, Pat DeLeon. Recurring Themes was financed entirely by the band and is available for purchase via the band’s website, iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby,Lasers Edge, Dearborn Music and is now available through Nightmare Records.
