KNS Productions Signs Worldwide Publishing Deal With Razor & Tie Music Publishing

(New York, NY) – KNS Productions has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Razor & Tie Music Publishing.   The music production team comprised of Brian Kierulf and Josh Schwartz has produced songs for such superstars as Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, The Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, and Forever The Sickest Kids. The duo recently had a #1 hit platinum single in Australia with Ricki-Lee (EMI).

KNS Productions formed in 1997 after Brian Kierulf and Josh Schwartz met while still in high school and played in multiple New Jersey Shore Bands together. Their first jaunt into the music scene was working alongside legendary Rap Producer Rashad “Tumblin Dice” Smith On the Carl Thomas Album “Emotional” (Bad Boy) and the first 50 Cent Album “Power Of the Dolla” (Columbia) where they produced and co–‐wrote “Thug Love” A duet with 50 Cent And Destiny’s Child. Throughout the next decade KNS worked with Zomba Music Publishing on music and went on to produce two multi-platinum albums for Britney Spears, with whom the pair has an impressive 10 Cuts that span over 30 million albums worldwide.  In 2010 KNS was awarded the Best Electronic/Dance Album Grammy for their work on Lady Gaga’s The Fame/Fame Monster with the song “Summerboy” which they co‐wrote and produced.   That album was also nominated for album of the year and went on to sell over 14 Million copies worldwide.

KNS has had tremendous international successes with multi-platinum chart topping singles with such artists as Tarkan, Ricki Lee Coulter and Gia Farrell.  Their songs have been used in various movies, television shows and commercials including Sex In the City 2,  Mean Girls,Happy Feet, Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, etc. KNS has had additional collaborations with Kara Dioguardi, Brian Transeau (BT), Nile Rogers, Willa Ford, Nick Carter, 2Gether, 3LW, Jeff Saltzman, Leon Thomas, and Victoria Justice.
