Ben Taylor Featured In Upcoming Episode Of ABC’s Reality Series The Bachelor

(New York, NY) – Singer songwriter Ben Taylor will be a featured performer on an upcoming episode of The Bachelor scheduled to air Monday, January 28^th, 2013, on ABC. The episode features a special one-on-one private date between the newest Bachelor, Sean Lowe, and one of the women featured on the hit show. Ben Taylor performs a special private concert playing a cover of the Sade ballad “By Your Side.”

This season on The Bachelor, Sean, 29, the successful Dallas businessman and entrepreneur who charmed fans while wooing Bachelorette Emily Maynard, meets 26 potential soul mates and gets another shot at love as the Bachelor.  Sean was blindsided in the Caribbean island of Curaçao when Emily rejected him, and viewers saw the devastated Sean wrestling to make sense of her decision.  Thankfully, Sean did not give up on his dream of love and he now knows with certainty that the time is right for him to risk it all again to try to find the right woman.  The Bachelor airs Mondays (8:00–10:01 p.m., ET/PT), on ABC.

Ben Taylor recently released his new studio album, Listening  (Sun Pedal Recordings/ILG). His latest effort seamlessly merges the sounds and styles of folk, pop, soul, urban, reggae and country/western, running the gamut from sonically spacious acoustic numbers to multi-layered vocals and fresh beats.  Taylor has performed new songs from Listening on VH1’s Morning Buzz and FOX Good Day New York, and he was featured on NPR’s Tell Me More, and KCRW’s School Nights. Taylor embarked on his professional musical journey ten years ago, but has had music in his veins since birth as the son of legends James Taylor and Carly Simon. His acclaimed previous releases comprise his debut album 2003’s Famous Among The Barns, 2005’s Another Run Around The Sun, and 2008’s The Legend of Kung Folk, Part 1 (The Killing Bite).   Highlights from his previous albums include appearances on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show, The CBS Early Show, Last Call with Carson Daly and Howard Stern.  Ben also made his acting debut with a recurring role on NBC’s American Dreams and has appeared in the pages of People Magazine, Vogue and even on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.  His reviews and raves have been steady for over a decade now with more to come.
