Jerry Ewing has assembled a potted history of Australia’s favourite rock band, complete with a miscellany of inserts and enclosures replicating tour and album posters, festival programmes, ticket stubs and press releases – even an AC/DC dollar note of the kind they used to drop from the rafters at arena shows in the 80’s.

It’s a treasure trove for AC/DC die hards – even though the text doesn’t delve too deeply into the band or members’ lives, there are multitudes of books on that subject already.

Culminating in the Black Ice tour of the late 2000’s, the book features a comprehensive summary of past members, no matter how fleeting, and pretty thorough discography which even includes many of the albums AC/DC members made before joining the band (whilst with bands including Fraternity, Geordie, Home and Buster Brown).
