Memphis May Fire‘s cover of Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” is now available for digital download on iTunes. The track is taken from Punk Goes Pop 5, the latest installment in Fearless Records’ celebrated compilation series, set for release November 6th.
“This is the first cover song we’ve ever done and we chose “Grenade” because of its power & overall emotional sensibility,” notes Matty Mullins, lead singer of Memphis May Fire. “We felt there was a lot of room to adapt the song musically into our genre and that we could stand firmly behind the lyrics. We’re all very happy with how it turned out!”
