VOICE OF USAFL AND URBAN COWBOY BAND

In 2008 the Australian Football League adopted the United 
States Australian Football League brand of tournament 
presentation for its International Cup 

The AFL employed 'Voice of the USAFL' Rod Grljusich to bring 
the colourful, dynamic, musical presentation to Melbourne for 
IC08

In 2011, Grljusich was employed for the second consecutive 
time to show case IC11 in the break through market of Greater 
Western Sydney and again back in the mecca market of Victoria 
that included the home of football. the MCG

2012 will see the pioneer of USAFL play by play announcing 
return to his roots for the tenth consecutive time to present 
the sixteenth edition of the League's Nationals to be held in 
Mason, Ohio across the weekend of October 13 - 14  when teams 
from around the USA compete in 4 Men's Divisions and 1 Women's 
Division to determine National Champions for the year

Then, at the Official After Party, the announcer switches voices 
into that of  Urban Cowboy (from Urban Cowboy Band) to appear as 
special guest with Crazy X  to further entertain tournament 
attendees with some straight up Rock n Roll

Urban Cowboy will be back in Perth, Western Australia for a 
series of Def Repplica support gigs with Urban Cowboy Band 
Thursday October 25, Boulevard Tavern, Joondalup Friday October
26, Ravenswood Hotel and Saturday October 27 at The Charles Hotel

Urban Cowboy Band also commence recording a new promo single 
at Witzend Studio on Saturday October 27
