ROSE CARLEO BAND GET DOWN & ‘DIRT BOUND’ WITH BONAFIDE’S PONTUS SNIBB

Rose Carleo Band are getting down and dirty with the release of ‘Dirt Bound’ (Radio Edit), featuring Pontus Snibb, of Swedish hard rockers Bonafide out today Friday, October 9.

Originally recorded by Bonafide, ‘Dirt Bound’ gets the Rose Carleo Band treatment – a gritty, hard-driving take, loaded with blues-rock swagger, big guitars and Rose Carleo’s unmistakable vocals.

And there’s an extra twist.

Joining Rose and guitarist/songwriter Mick Adkins on the track is Bonafide frontman and guitarist Pontus Snibb, bringing the connection full circle by guesting on Rose Carleo Band’s version of his band’s song.

“I’m glad and honoured that Rose recorded ‘Dirt Bound’ and chose it as a single release as well. What a great version it is. I Love it!” – Pontus Snibb

The track originally appeared on Rose Carleo Band’s 2026 album 42 Days, released in May, alongside a collection of tough, honest blues and harddriving rock ’n’ roll.

“Mick raced home one day, turned on the music player and said, ‘Listen to this!’ I immediately said, ‘Who’s that?’ When he told me it was Bonafide, I said, ‘We’ve gotta write a song like that!’ Then we just looked at each other and thought – why not record this one? We added ‘Dirt Bound’ to our live set pretty much straight away.

“There’s something about the space Bonafide created in that song – the blistering guitars, that relentless four-on-the-floor drive and those vocals… wow! It’s raw, dirty rock ’n’ roll at its best. We didn’t want to reinvent it; we just wanted to put the RCB stamp on it and make it our own. And to have Pontus agree to sing on our version with us is an absolute honour.”- Rose Carleo

Now ‘Dirt Bound’ is getting its own moment.

Clocking in shorter than the album version, the new Radio Edit cuts straight to the chase, keeping the grit, groove and guitar while delivering a tighter version built for the airwaves.

It’s Australian rock ’n’ roll meets Swedish hard rock – with plenty of dirt under the fingernails.
