A TASTE OF THE LAUGHS TO COME AT NEXT YEAR’S PERTH COMEDY FESTIVAL
Jimeoin, Connor Burns and Denise Scott among first acts announced – Get ready to laugh, Perth.
Perth Comedy Festival returns 19th April – 16th May, 2027, bringing another month of stand-up, big personalities and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy live comedy. The first acts have been announced, offering a taste of the diverse comedy lineup in store, from much-loved favourites to sharp, irreverent and contemporary voices from Australia and around the world.
With more shows still to be revealed, this is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a huge month of laughs across Perth.
JIMEOIN
A true comedy icon, Jimeoin has spent decades finding fun in everyday life. Known for his relaxed delivery, playful physical comedy and clever observations, his live shows combine an easy-going stage presence with a knack for turning the ordinary into something hilarious.
CONNOR BURNS
Scottish lad Connor Burns is one of the most exciting and fast-rising talents in international stand-up comedy. Hailing from Edinburgh, he quickly transitioned from a local favourite to a global touring powerhouse, solidifying his status as a must-see headliner with his deceptively dark, hilariously relatable way with words.
DENISE SCOTT
After more than a decade away from solo performance, beloved Australian comedian Denise Scott is making a triumphant return to the stage with her most personal show yet. Famous for her razor-sharp wit and unflinching honesty, Scotty promises audiences a show unlike anything she’s delivered before. So much has happened recently, so boy does she have a lot to tell you. It’s no secret that the last three years has involved one hell of a time for Denise. Now, on the other side of her cancer treatment, she brings her trademark observational humour, sharp storytelling and wonderfully candid perspective to Perth with TICKETY BOO.
MARC LOTTERING
One of South Africa’s most beloved comedians, Marc Lottering returns to Perth with his unmistakable brand of comedy. Renowned for his larger-than-life characters, infectious energy and razor-sharp observations of everyday life, Lottering has built a huge following at home and internationally.
DANIEL MUGGLETON
Our favourite tracksuit-clad stand-up is thinking big, with Daniel Muggleton taking on the iconic Astor Theatre for the first time. Known for his dark humour, razor-sharp punchlines and unapologetically Australian perspective, Muggleton has built a loyal following with comedy that pulls no punches. Now he’s stepping up to one of Perth’s biggest and most iconic stages for what promises to be a major night of laughs.
LUKE HEGGIE
One of Australia’s most formidable and unapologetic stand-up comedians, Lue Heggie’s razor-sharp deadpan delivery and brutally funny take on modern life have earned him a reputation as one of the country’s most distinctive voices.
100% SCOTTISH COMEDY
Och aye, it’s back! The hugely popular 100% Scottish Comedy Night returns to Perth Comedy Festival for the fourth consecutive year, bringing a fresh dose of Scottish humour, quick-fire wit and larger-than-life personalities to the stage. A celebration of Scotland’s distinctive comedy scene, it’s become a festival favourite for audiences who like their laughs bold, cheeky and distinctly Scottish.
MORE LAUGHS TO COME!!!
