3 Oceans Winery, Margaret River
Matt Corby • Macy Gray (USA) • The Cat Empire • The Forever Party • Teischa • Birdland

Good Day Sunshine is coming home! After a run of sold-out events at Gloucester Park, WA’s most beloved music festival is returning to where it all began: Margaret River’s picturesque 3 Oceans Winery. To celebrate this victorious homecoming, GDS is putting on its biggest party yet, with the absolutely stellar line-up of Matt Corby, Macy Gray (USA), The Cat Empire, The Forever Party, Teischa, and Birdland!

Smack bang in the middle of Kambarang – the Noongar season of ‘second spring’ – Good Day Sunshine has become the unofficial start of summer in WA; driving away the remnants of winter to usher in another sunny season in the coastal paradise that is Margaret River. Just ask everyone who attended last year’s epic event… or everyone who missed out! Both GDS 2025 and 2024 sold out in advance, so getting Pre-Sale tickets is an absolute must this year.

As always, under 18s are permitted with a parent or guardian, so everyone gets to share in the good times and great vibes of Good Day Sunshine!

THE LINE-UP

Few artists capture the warm, breezy vibe of Good Day Sunshine better than Matt Corby. From humble musical beginnings to becoming one of Australia’s most important artists, Corby has singlehandedly earned 7 x Platinum status, three ARIA Awards (of an utterly insane 17 nominations!), a J Award for Album Of The Year, two FBI Awards, and an APRA Award among a discography of four now-classic albums

But awards and sales aren’t what really matters… Corby is beloved because his music touches the soul. From 2016’s ‘Telluric’, right through to this year’s incredible ‘Tragic Magic’, Corby has produced some of the most memorable albums of the last decade – weaving heartfelt lyrics into effortlessly beautiful melodies – all delivered by a truly once-in-a-generation voice. Performing as his exclusive WA show, Matt Corby is the most fitting headliner for Good Day Sunshine’s triumphant return to its spiritual home of 3 Oceans Winery.

Another GDS exclusive performance comes by way of Soul powerhouse Macy Gray, who will be playing fan favourite cuts from her eye-watering 10 album catalogue of R&B classics. Possessing one of the most jaw-dropping voices in modern music, Macy Gray has earned her legendary status over an almost 30-year career as a high-profile touring artist. With essential tracks like Grammy Award winning ‘I Try’, ‘Still’, ‘Do Something’, and the chilling ‘I’ve Committed Murder’, Gray’s body of work is as varied as it is showstopping.

Australia has become like a second home to Macy Gray, who has landed on our shores a half dozen times since the early 2000s. Her appearance at Good Day Sunshine is part of her momentous Encore Tour, which sees her following up her entirely sold-out 2024 Australian run. As such, it can’t be stressed enough how urgent the need is for fans to secure their Good Day Sunshine 2026 tickets as early as possible, or face the bitter sting of heartbreak.

The Cat Empire need no introduction… but what fun would that be!? Australia’s ultimate party band (possibly the world’s!); The Cat Empire so frequently top ‘Best Live Band’ lists that it is almost an understatement to call them legendary. Blending funk, soul, jazz, and Latin musical flavours into one irresistible gumbo, The Cat Empire have been a mainstay on the world touring circuit since the early 2000s, when they emerged with their scorching self-titled album. Since that time they expanded their quiver to a whopping 10 albums, have won just about every award Australian music has to offer, and have toured the world so many times they may as well be Australia’s ambassadors at this point. In short, The Cat Empire + GDS = utterly unmissable!

Representing the next generation of Australian talent, The Forever Party already have a swag of festival performances under their belt, as well as an ever-growing fanbase drawn to the band’s intense, introspective alt rock sound. Rising to prominence with shimmering tracks like ‘Angels’, ‘Blue Ribbons’, and the aptly titled ‘Sparkly’, The Forever Party masterfully dance between shades of light and dark – drawing an emotional response with their textured musicianship and rich, authentic vocals. With a WAM Song Of The Year nomination to their name, The Forever Party have shot to prominence in practically no time at all, so their appearance at Good Day Sunshine is well and truly deserved.

Breaking out in 2017 with her debut single ‘Midnight Hour’, Freo siren Teischa is another emerging artist that showcases the sheer talent coming out of WA right now. Wielding a beautiful, dextrous voice absolutely tailor-made for sophisticated modern pop, Teischa has become a triple j darling with soulful, moody songs that belie her young age. From early tracks like ‘Be Alone’ and ‘Doubt’, to 2025’s luscious ‘In The Morning’, Teischa’s music feels classic and familiar while still fresh and vital – making her a perfect pairing with the always-evolving yet comforting vibes of Good Day Sunshine.

Speaking of youthful effervescence, newcomers Birdland may well be the youngest artists on the lineup but their funky take on indie-pop is nothing short of ageless. While still in high school, the WA trio of identical triplets have made big waves in little time, dropping their red hot debut EP ‘He Was Me’ this year, which has scorched a path to national touring and, ultimately, a coveted spot on Good Day Sunshine 2026. Fun, charming, and summery, Birdland represent the future of WA music in a way that lends itself perfectly to the chill vibes of WA’s most feelgood music festival.
