To an extremely energetic and sold out crowd Wolfmother hit the stage in full force at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, TN. The evening was an absolute fun filled event. Everybody in attendance was singing and enjoying their performance. High energy and full of all those rock and roll vibes one would want in a show. They jumped straight into “Dimension” getting the crowd pumped with energy. The majority of the show was from their first album Wolfmother with a few songs from their other albums tossed in for good mix. Playing to the crowd with several musical solo breaks and thoroughly enjoying what they do on stage this show was stellar. Stage setup and lighting were exceptionally on point with the mood and vibe of the evening. Their set only lasted around an hour and a half but how they stacked the evening with new and old songs it honestly was perfect. Spreading out the main hits off their first album over the course of the performance kept full form and flow for the night. The final song on the set was “Joker & The Thief” and everyone was ready for it. Such a great final song to end a loaded evening of rock. When the band came back to perform their encore cover of Led Zeppelin’s song “Rock and Roll” everyone in the crowd erupted in cheers as soon as everyone on the floor just started moving and dancing to a pace that was part of the overall highly enjoyable evening. The reactions and attitudes of everyone leaving the show afterwards were excited and happy. There was not a sad face in the crowd except that the show was over. This is a band that is highly recommended to catch live even if you aren’t that familiar with their music. This was my first time being able to catch a Wolfmother performance and I can say that they are simply a show to see. A highly recommended show for anyone of rock and roll.
