Lindsey Stirling brought her Summer Tour to Indy in support of her latest album Snow Waltz. We last saw her on the Artemis Tour back in 2021 and were anxious to what her new stage production had in store. Typical for her tours, there was a diverse crowd, including many families with children who were some of the loudest supporters. Walk Off the Earth started the night off with a unique collection of catchy covers and original material. The indie band from Ontario paired a variety of instruments and layered vocals creating a unique take on each song. They were even joined by Lindsey during “Long Way Home.” After a set change, Stirling and her entourage took the stage to piercing screams from her young fans. She was accompanied by her backing band and a group of dancers. Their choreography was impeccable. It was like a Broadway production. She and her dancers changed outfits for almost song. Lindsey talked to crowd frequently, with her message of positivity and embracing our differences. She encouraged her fans to pursue their dreams. Her example was how she turned the dream of playing an electronic violin in dub step while dancing into a reality. Lindsey did her trademark ballet dancing all the while playing her violin without missing a beat. Her stage production, engagement with the audience and unbelievable violin and dancing mix make her shows something to behold. I would highly recommend her concert to music fans of all tastes.
