Canadian Indie rockers, Metric, stopped by Ruoff Music Center as part of their 2023 summer tour with Garbage and Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds. They are out in support of their latest release Formentera, their 8th studio album. A stormy summer night brought fans under the Pavilion for the show. Metric came out blazing with “Gold Guns Girls” and did not let up from there. Emily Haines powerful vocals and infectious energy got the crowd on their feet and singing along. Their set included their greatest hits as well as new material highlighted by their current alt rock chart topper “All Comes Crashing.” Haines performance was complimented by her stellar bandmates, James Shaw on guitar and Joshua Winstead on bass. As they concluded with “Breathing UnderWater” Emily expressed their gratitude to be out on tour with such amazing artists as Garbage and Noel Gallagher.
