Indianapolis welcomed the return of live music with Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors at Rock the Ruins at Holliday Park. The grounds were divided in pods for distancing, but the mask mandate has been lifted and things felt close to normal for the first time in over 15 months. Drew sang his recently release single “I Need to Go Somewhere” which pretty much sums up everyone’s feeling about the pandemic shutdown. The video for the song is available on their website link below. The native Tennessean played a variety of his folk rock hits from 6 studio albums. The band seemed to enjoy themselves as much as the crowd during the sweltering evening. Hopefully we will see more venues opening soon!
Setlist: End of the World – Shine Like Lightning – Another Man’s Shoes – What Would I Do Without You – Postcard Memories – Tennessee – Avalanche – I Need to Go Somewhere – I Like to Be With Me When I’m With You – But I’ll Never Forget the Way You Make Me Feel – The Morning Song – You Want What You Can’t Have – American Beauty – Bittersweet – America – Ring the Bells – Here We Go – Family – The Wine We Drink – Dragons
