Old school circus clowning skills are at the heart of The Trash Test Dummies’ anarchic and manic family-friendly comedy show at Perth’s Fringe World 2019.
Now featuring the troupe’s first ever female Dummie, Amy Nightingale-Olsen, who joins Leigh Rhodes and Thomas McDonald in the show.
Our three heroes star as garbologists who far prefer to lark about and use their wheelie bins as props in their ever-imaginative efforts to avoid picking up any actual rubbish. In their hands the bins become cars, instruments, chariots, a prison and excuses to break out in dance and have every kid in the room rush the stage for a mid-show ball fight.
Featuring Three Stooges-class slapstick, incredibly agile acrobatics, kid-friendly tomfoolery, audience-interactive pantomime and more, Trash Test Dummies had every audience member in stitches, from infants to teens to adults – and there can’t be many more welcome respites from the scorching forty degree Perth summer sun than dead set legit belly laughs.
