Matty T Wall ‘Sidewinder’ Tour Dates Announced
Western Australian Blues-rock up-and-comer Matty T Wall is itching to get out on the road in support of latest release ‘Sidewinder’. He’ll be doing his thing all over Australia this winter, with shows on both coasts throughout July and August.
Sidewinder is a 12-track tour de force through classic soul, screaming blues, and displays more of the slick guitar work that has seen him lauded worldwide as one of the best things coming out of the Aussie scene in a long while.
Key to the sound of Sidewinder is the presence of legendary Grammy-winning producer-engineer Bob Clearmountain. Famed for his work with the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie among hundreds of other platinum artists, Clearmountain provides the sonic sparkle that helps set this new album apart.
With his newest release, all of the sides of Matty T Wall are in full frame. A young man with a reverent link to his lineage and a vital musical vision for the future, who’s not afraid to back himself. With Sidewinder, Matty T Wall turns it all the way up.

Press quotes
“Australian-born guitarist Matty T. Wall proves the blues is alive and well Down Under… Infectious chops and a swagger that’s soulful enough to rival that of any blues-fueled, American shredder.” – Guitar World Magazine, International (May 10, 2016)
“With a contemporary blues/rock edge, yet maintaining a solid footing in the blues of old, with all of its colorful history and traditions intact, Wall is a rare treasure…. He is one of those guitarists who can squeeze an incredible amount of power and passion from a single note.” – chickenwilson, USA (Jul, 2016)
