Industro Anarcho metal with guitars that riff like evil machinery, keys that stab like shards of broken glass, and lyrics pointing to the downfall of modern society, Devil M’s world may seem pretty bleak to an outsider.
Not so: there’s a vibrant experimental feeling to Hollow Earth. Obviously influenced by the likes of Manson and Reznor, Hollow Earth is not exactly goth, industrial or metal – yet it contains elements of all of these things and more.
Devil M’s dark metal universe isn’t afraid to embrace soundtrack elements, hint at jazz-inspired phrasing, and even throw down some beats, yo.
