The third instalment of Katrina Nannestad’s resourceful heroine Olive’s adventures at Mrs Groves’ Boarding School For Naughty Boys, Talking Animals and Circus Performers is as exciting, clever and fun as the previous two.
Here we see the school preparing for a visit from none other than The Queen, who is coming to Mrs Groves’ for tea. Nothing could spoil this exciting time, surely! Until it all goes pear-shaped when Pig McKenzie (bad guy!) returns, a right piece of work in the overly harsh woman named Thistlebloom arrives, and the School Inspector is determined to shut down the school completely if the visit doesn’t go well!
Only Olive can step up and ensure everything goes smoothly (or as smoothly as anything ever goes at Mrs Groves’)… but is she up to the task?
