Moleskine has always been synonymous with quality, and though other companies might try to imitate their style, the end result is never quite the same.

This reliable travel companion, perfect for writing, thoughts, and passing notes, has a cardboard bound cover with rounded corners, acid-free paper, a bookmark, an elastic closure and an expandable inner pocket that contains the Moleskine history.

Moleskine books are elegant and hardy, and perfect for the writer (or drawer, or note-maker) on the go, and with their latest collection they have reinterpreted J. M. Barrie’s classic story, Peter Pan, using calligraphy to bring out your inner child.

Each cover in this collection features themed illustrations and a quote from Peter Pan. In the large versions we are offered “Second to the right, and then straight on till morning” and “Do you believe in fairies?” and in the smaller versions “Oh, the cleverness of me!” and “All children, except one, grow up”.

But the meticulous design doesn’t stop there! The internals of the books – Peter Pan flying out through the window at the front, Peter and the Darling children flying through the night sky at the back – are lovely, but the fact that the accent colour in each book matches the elastic used to keep it closed is a really nice touch.

And, let’s not forget about the Peter Pan stickers. (Though the website suggests there are two sheets of stickers in each, there seems to be only one. But hey, bonus stickers are bonus stickers!)

And even the paper band used for packaging isn’t all it seems! On the back of these you will find little paper planes to fold and fly, and a couple more quotes.

A lot of thought and passion was clearly employed in the making of these lined journals, which are an absolute must have for fans of Peter Pan. They are so beautifully designed that it would almost be a shame to write in them, but what a waste it would be to not give them purpose!

To write in these notebooks will be an awfully big adventure!
