Grunge and garage rock collide head on in this four-track debut EP from Melbourne’s The Burning Roaches, with the Nirvana/Mudhoney rhythms and melodies of Feeling Really Good, My Only Prize, Bad Things and Shivering On Fire being delivered with a garage-rehearsal room looseness.

The sweet haze of fat spliffs blankets the whole affair, as their name might imply, and the end result is raucous and gritty and resolutely underground, man.
