With Vanda & Young leaving the band to self-produce their third album alongside Mark Opitz, (the former Easybeats are credited as ‘Production Consultants’), they couldn’t quite match the sheer power and quality of their previous effort.
Once again, there’s some great songs on hand – none better than the classic Mr Damage, with its resurrection-themed lyrics it might be the perfect encapsulation of singer Doc Neeson’s manic and mesmeric onstage persona.

Single Shadow Boxer is another favourite, as is the title track and the excellent Can’t Shake It. After Dark, Save Me, Out Of The Blue and Ivory Stairs are lesser favourites too, proving that even slightly off the boil this band could beat most comers with one hand tied behind their backs.
