A bootleg disc I picked up in England, “Unplugged & Undrugged” collects six tracks from Pearl Jam’s MTV Unplugged performance and matches them up with a mish mash of (then) unreleased live bootlegs.

There’s early takes on gems like Better Man, covers of Dylan’s Masters Of War, Sinatra’s My Way, and Otis Redding’s Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay, as well as the studio track Crazy Mary from the Victoria Williams Tribute of 1992. The bootleg recording quality though, varies greatly throughout.

The highlights though are from that Unplugged performance…

Besties: A brooding Jeremy and Even Flow, unplugged and (perhaps?) undrugged.
