Death Valley High Release “How2Kill” Video; Positive Euth Available Now
July 9, 2013, San Francisco – Death Valley High, the Bay Area quartet whose music Kerrang recently described as “twisting, melodically sophisticated hunks of electro rock,” have unveiled their appropriately horror-themed video for “How2Kill” (http://youtu.be/T7ECK7L6FJ0).
The six-minute clip was directed by the Bay Area production company Guerilla Wanderers who have also crafted videos for Mudvayne, Brian “Head” Welch and Emmure.
FEARnet said “How2Kill” sums up Death Valley High’s musical approach by “seamlessly integrating bouncy synth melodies into a rough and rousing pop-punk anthem with gothic undertones.” Consequence of Sound said the band’s sound is “rollicking menacingly across the sonic map from gothic boogie rock to noise-rock freak outs,” while Metal Hammer UK added “DVH… really goes to town, mixing sharp punches of dark pop-punk and brutal screams.”
