PAPA ROACH SCORES 5TH CAREER #1 RADIO HIT WITH “WHERE DO ANGELS GO”
(New York, NY) – Proving that they haven’t gone anywhere, rock band Papa Roach have scored yet another #1 radio hit, which is their career fifth and comes 13 years after their first with “Last Resort.” “Where Did The Angels Go” is in its 2nd week at the top of the active rock radio chart, according to BDS/Billboard. Very few bands have achieved #1 success at multiple times spanning over a decade – a feat that Papa Roach is highly underrated for accomplishing. The single comes from the band’s latest acclaimed album The Connection (Eleven Seven Music), which was released in October 2012 and debuted as the #2 rock album on iTunes. The video for “Where Did The Angels Go” can be viewed here.
An addition to over 10 million in album sales world-wide, two Grammy nominations, an MTV VMA nomination, twelve Top 10 rock hits (5 reaching #1) and seven Top 10 alternative hits including the “Most Played Alternative Song of the Decade” (BDS) with “Last Resort,” the band has recently surpassed 4 MILLION followers on Facebook.
The band is just 8 days away from kicking off its headlining US tour with label mates Escape The Fate as main support and Century Media’s Otherwise as openers before heading to Europe. Eleven Seven Music is hosting a special ticket giveaway for fans in each city. Fans can enter at https://www.facebook.com/ElevenSevenMusic.
Next up, the band’s upcoming single “Leader for the Broken Hearts” will have its music video premiere on Vevo on April 18th.
