DAUGHTRY and 3 DOORS DOWN Bring The Heat To The Stage This Summer With HALESTORM
Los Angeles, CA – April 17, 2013 – Daughtry and 3 Doors Down will continue their successful co-headlining tour this summer, when the multi-platinum rock bands hit the road together for a string of concerts. The groups will kick the tour off on July 5 in Solomons, MD, before wrapping up on August 3 in Cleveland, OH at Jacobs Pavilion.
During these highly anticipated shows, Daughtry and 3 Doors Down will be joined on the road by several promising artists, including special guest Halestorm. For the first half of the tour, the opener will be Atlantic Recording artist Bad Seed Rising. During the tour’s second half, Oleander will open the shows.
“We’re excited to be back on the road with our friends in 3 Doors Down. They bring it every night and keep us on our toes,” says lead singer Chris Daughtry. 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold says, “These shows together keep getting better and better. You don’t want to miss out.”
Daughtry’s set spotlights the band’s latest single “Start of Something Good,” from their gold-certified album Break The Spell. The shows are loaded with monster hits like “Home,” “It’s Not Over,” “Feels Like Tonight” and “No Surprise” from the group’s platinum-selling Leave This Town and its record-breaking self-titled debut. While on tour, the band is starting to write music for its next album. A release date has not yet been set.
3 Doors Down recently released the quintet’s first-ever hits collection, and its show is anchored by the band’s nine #1 singles, including “Kryptonite,” “It’s Not My Time,” “When I’m Gone” and “Here Without You.” The shows also feature new tracks “One Light” and “Goodbyes,” plus the lead single from The Greatest Hits “One Light,” which recently cracked the Top 15 at Active Rock radio.
