(New York- January 15, 2013) United Stations Radio Networks’ nationally syndicated radio show hardDrive has announced that Bullet For My Valentine will be headlining their fifth annual 2013 hardDrive Live “Five” Tour along with main support Halestorm and special guests Young Guns. The tour is produced by Ledge Entertainment. Tour dates and more information to be announced next week.

The metal giants recently headlined the UK’s Radio 1’s Rock Week at the BBC Maida Vale studios where they debuted the title track. They have also announced a UK tour for March which is already sold out.


“Upon its release last spring, THE STRANGE CASE OF, the second album from Atlantic Records artist HALESTORM, shot to the #1 slot on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart. The first single, “Love Bites (So Do I),” marked the first song by a female fronted group to top the active rock chart, and earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.  Halestorm will perform the song, which was the #1 song of 2012 on SiriusXM’s Octane, on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, January 29th.  Last year, frontwoman Lzzy Hale appeared on the cover of Revolver, who named her their #1 “Hottest Chick In Hard Rock.”  True road warriors, Halestorm spent much of 2012 on tour, including countless headline dates around the world, support slots alongside Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Staind, and the one and only Alice Cooper, and festival tours like the Carnival of Madness 2012 Tour with Evanescence.


 Buzz continues to build for UK rock band YOUNG GUNS, who recently made headlines when Kerrang! awarded their new single (“Bones”) the No. 1 spot on its list of the “250 Greatest Rock Songs of 2012.” Thanks to “Bones,” a song whose companion video ( has racked up more than 1.3 million YouTube views, Young Guns also hold the distinction of being the highest charting new band at Active Rock Radio in 2012. Their full-length Wind-up debut, also titled BONES, has drawn rave reviews from the likes ofRevolverQ Magazine, the BBC and Alternative Press, who wrote, “Young Guns are making waves the old-fashioned way – writing great songs and playing their hearts out every night.” Over the course of the past few years, the London-based quintet (vocalist Gustav Wood, guitarists Fraser Taylor and John Taylor, bassist Simon Mitchell and drummer Ben Jolliffe) has emerged as one of the UK’s most electrifying new bands, garnering heavy radio play and chart success while playing to packed-house crowds all across Europe, including a main stage performance at the Reading Festival, where they were part of a lineup that included Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Guns N’ Roses and Modest Mouse.


HardDrive with Lou Brutus debuted on July 5, 1996.  With 120 radio stations broadcasting the show, HardDrive is America’s longest running new rock show supporting the careers of hundreds of groups from Korn to Five Finger Death Punch.  Multi-platinum metal band Slipknot received some of their first national airplay on the two-hour weekend syndicated show.  United Stations acquired the series in 2001, and in 2007 originator / producer Roxy Myzal developed the much longer, five-night-a-week brand extension, HardDrive XL, also featuring Lou Brutus.   Myzal has been awarded RadioContraband’s Non-Traditional Rock Programmer of the year for 2011 & 2012.
