(Los Angeles – CA) Churchill breaks into the Top-10 at Triple-A radio with their explosive debut single “Change.”  The chart position puts Churchill in the esteemed company of Mumford & Sons, Fun., Muse, and The Lumineers among others – and it is growing fast.  It also broke into the Top-20 at Alternative radio and was recently featured as iTunes Single Of The Week.  The Denver quintet will kick-off their headlining tour beginning January 15 in St. Louis, Missouri.

The single is the first off of Churchill’s self-produced Change EP.  Its also the force driving the group’s kaleidoscopic sound.  The band is blessed with two distinctive lead vocalists and an expansive approach to songwriting, combined with strong musical chemistry, which allows Churchill to conjure an amazing range of sounds.

Founders Tim Bruns (guitar/vox) and Mike Morter (mandolin/guitar) deliver the freewheeling alt-country vibe; Tyler Rima (bass) and Joe Richmond (drums) inject some rock attitude; and Bethany Kelly (piano/vox) adds sophisticated classical flourishes.

Thanks to the success of “Change,” Churchill has stayed busy touring the States.  The band’s high-energy and charismatic performances have earned rave reviews while attracting a growing number of fans.  Those attending the shows have been treated to a number of new songs destined for Churchill’s forthcoming full-length debut in the Spring of 2013.
