UK HARD ROCKERS HEAVEN’S BASEMENT CONFIRMED AS SUPPORT FOR BUCKCHERRY ON JANUARY, 2013 CANADIAN TOUR

(New York, NY) – Rising UK hard rock quartet Heaven’s Basement have been tapped as support for Buckcherry on their upcoming Canadian tour, with additional select dates in the United States, beginning January 2^nd, 2013.  This marks the band’s first tour in North America.  The quartet just wrapped tour dates as support for Halestorm in the UK and Europe, and is now on the road supporting Seether, also abroad.  They will headline a holiday show in London on December 18^th, and will do a short headline run of the UK in February around the release of their debut album, FILTHY EMPIRE.  Please see below for all tour dates.

Heaven’s Basement‘s debut album, FILTHY EMPIRE, will be released February 5^th, 2013 in North America via Red Bull Records and was produced by John Feldmann (The Used, Papa Roach, Black Veil Brides).  The video for the first single from the forthcoming album, “Fire, Fire,” directed by Michael Maxxis (Ours, Sum 41, and Our Lady Peace), can be viewed here, and the single can be downloaded for free here.  Their track “I Am Electric” was recently used in the trailer for the new “Need For Speed Most Wanted” video game, which can be seen here.

Heaven’s Basement have been making a name for themselves overseas via their relentless touring and fiery live show plus music that features huge guitar riffs, killer melodies and an arena-rock sound.  Originally formed in the East Midlands in England, Heaven’s Basementhave also toured with the likes of Papa Roach, Theory Of A Deadman, Shinedown, and more and played this year’s Download Festival in the UK to a packed tent of more than 5,000 fans. Kerrang declared earlier this year, “Heaven’s Basement play as if their lives depend on it.  They should already be a big name – bristling riffs and jagged, riotous hooks are their poison and exceptional is not too strong a word.”  Heaven’s Basement is Aaron Buchanan (vocals), Sid Glover (guitar), Rob Ellershaw (bass), and Chris Rivers (drums).
