LOCAL LOS ANGELES MUSICIAN WINS CHANCE OF A LIFETIME PERFORMANCE

WHAT:  Singer-songwriter, Tiffany Alvord, will be given the break of a lifetime as the winner of NIVEA’s first-ever contest to support aspiring musical talent.  Tiffany, a YouTube rising-star, will have the chance to perform for millions on one of the world’s largest stages, the NIVEA Kiss Stage in the heart of Times Square this New Year’s Eve.

HOW:  Through a partnership with Sony/ATV’s We Are The Hits YouTube network, nine artists submitted their rendition of the hit pop song, “This Kiss,” with hopes of performing it in front of more than one million people at the iconic New Year’s Eve celebration in New York’s Times Square.   After wowing her fans and followers, Tiffany’s cover video received the most number of views among all nine artists participating, landing her one of the most sought-after performances to aspiring musicians and chart toppers alike.

WHO:  As a young singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, Tiffany has proven to be a musical prodigy, learning how to play the piano at six-years old and even writing her own songs at the age of ten.  When she was 12 years old, Tiffany bought her first guitar and taught herself how to play.  In 2008, she began sharing her talent with the YouTube community and immediately established a dedicated following.  With several tours alongside fellow YouTube artists on her belt and the release of two self-written albums, “My Dream” and “My Heart Is,” Tiffany promises to be an unforgettable young artist in the years to come.
